Transition & Employment Guide

The Texas Transition and Employment Guide provides youth, young adults, parents and professionals with secondary transition resources to facilitate a young person’s progress towards post-secondary goals to education, employment, and community living. This guide will continually be updated.

Transition & Employment Services Designee

In 2013, the Texas Legislature passed HB 617. As a result, each school district must designate at least one employee to serve as the district's designee on transition and employment services for students enrolled in special education programs.

Jessica Grisham, Educational Diagnostician for Greater Erath County Special Education SSA, is the designee for Huckabay ISD. She can be reached at the Special Education Office (254-445-2229).
